Maryann has been a med/surg nurse for over thirty years.  As a divorced mother of two grown children, she now has the freedom and flexibility to let Nightingale Nurses' travel nursing jobs take her to parts of the country that she has always wanted to explore.  Nightingale Nurses traveling nurses enjoy private housing, so Maryann is able to have her children and friends stay with her during weekend and holiday visits.

Elizabeth was a full-time ICU nurse before her son Tyler was born.  During his school year, she works various per diem nursing jobs at the local university hospital to accommodate his schedule. During the summer, she brings Tyler to her parents' home so that he can spend time with his grandparents, cousins, and other family while Elizabeth is on her per diem nursing assignment at a hospital in her hometown.  Because she stays with her parents, Elizabeth is able to save her housing subsidy from Nightingale Nurses for Tyler's college education.
